The Black Bay series features dials inspired by TUDOR divers' watches created during the 1950s. It borrows the characteristic angular markers, known to collectors as "Snowflake", from models that appeared in the brand's catalog in 1969. The intentionally unprotected the watch's crown and features are reminiscent of the first generations of TUDOR divers' watches.
The Black Bay line is a subtle blend of traditional aesthetics and contemporary watchmaking. It is not just an identical reissue of a classic watch but instead brings together sixty years of TUDOR diving watchmaking experience while remaining firmly rooted in the present.
Despite their neo-vintage inspiration, they have features such as high manufacturing techniques, reliability, robustness and quality of finish, which remain consistent with today's most stringent requirements.
